Hallo: Festspiele 2019

Taking its inspiration from the term SWAY, with which we seek to subtitle the overall topic of identity, the Hallo: Festspiele 2019 will take place at both Kraftwerk Bille and Elbphilharmonie. The word SWAY contains the notion of staggering and wavering, but also of taking influence or exerting power. As such, it provides an umbrella for the contents of our program: ours is an attempt to strike a balance.

From a queer-feminist porn cinema to the vital concern to break through the norms governing feminine* body images through the acceleration of time and its subsequent impact on the architectonic decay of the Elbphilarmonie to Mbira-Trance-Pop to summon a parallel dimension. With Dionysian parties, round talks, videos, dance, performances, lectures and readings and lots of fine arts, which reflects its own means of display.

Inspiriert von dem Begriff SWAY, mit dem wir das Thema
Identität überschreiben, finden die HALLO: Festspiele 2019 im Kraftwerk Bille und der Elbphilharmonie statt. SWAY bedeutet soviel wie torkeln oder schwanken, aber auch Einfluss nehmen oder Macht ausüben und bildet die Klammer unserer Programminhalte: Wir üben Spagat.

Zwischen queerfeministischem Pornokino, dem vitalen Anliegen die Normierung weiblicher* Körperbilder zu durchbrechen, der Beschleunigung von Zeit und dem so ausgelöstem, architektonischem Verfall der Elbphilharmonie und Mbira-Trance-Pop zur Anrufung einer Gegenwelt. Mit dionysischen Parties, Gesprächsrunden, Videos, Tanz, Performances, Lectures und Lesungen und viel bildender Kunst, die auch ihr Display reflektiert.
