100 Days in Comics

100 Days in Comics is a drawing journal, which starts as a steady depiction of certain events that happened in the life of the artist, Yolanda Kleine. The point was to investigate what makes each day memorable, and observe things that might otherwise go unnoticed. This journey was intended to stick to the script, but that’s not what happened. Before long, people started turning into bananas, insects developed personalities, imaginary creatures got tired of being stickers and escaped for a night out. In this debate between reality and imagination, the winner is a shoal of fish.

Reading: One of These Days / Friday 21pm

“One of These Days” is a stream-of-consciousness type story written on one day in Brooklyn. April 3rd, 2019 would have been just another day, except for the simple decision to come up with a story out of thin air. This decision turns itself into a night of near-insanity, and somehow that blurred place between reality and imagination reveals a new strange dimension.
