Nach erfolgreichen Tourneen mit The Jesus And Mary Chain, INVSN und The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart taucht Laura Carbone auf „Empty Sea“ tiefer in den berauschenden Mix dunkler, hallgeladener Popmelodien, sengender Rockriffs und rauschendem Feedback-Chaos. Als ob Mazzy Star, Sonic Youth und The Doors sich gemeinsam auf einem beinahe unendlichen Tauchgang zu den Tiefen des Abgrunds befinden.
