„The Lovechild of Soul Music“ Myles Sanko is proud to announce an exciting European tour to present his forthcoming album “Just Being Me” which will be released worldwide later this autumn.

From self-releasing his debut EP „Born in Black & White“ back in 2013, and critically acclaimed album „Forever Dreaming“ in late 2014, Myles has since managed to make a name for himself in the Soul/Jazz arena. With his charismatic performance that earned him a support on Gregory Porter’s German tour, Myles Sanko continues to sell out shows across Europe.

Making some of the finest soul music around, landing a whole heap of media attention and on the back of an impressive 98 show tour last year alone, critics comment on Myles as “one of the freshest talents in the UK” – BBC Radio and “one of the great talents of the vibrant European Soul” – Rolling Stone Magazine.

A performer of extraordinary energy who has been compared with the greatest of the greats, such as Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Al Green and Otis Redding, Myles Sanko is the rising star to watch out for at the moment.

Die Entscheidung, ihre musikalische Passion professionell zu verfolgen, fasste sie nach einem Kurztrip nach New York. Dort hatte sie sich ans Klavier im „The Bitter End“ gesetzt, einem Live-Club in der Bleeker Street, mitten in Greenwich Village. In den 60er-Jahren ist Bob Dylan hier aufgetreten, später folgten Soul- und Rock-Musiker wie Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield und Jackson Browne. Bis heute ist der älteste New Yorker Club eine Talentschmiede. Zurück in Hamburg gründete MIU ihre Band, die aktuell an ihrem zweiten Album schreibt.“
